Welcome!

We are very excited to share with you the launch of Paradragons USA. This newly formed non-profit Para entity will offer and hold dragon boat camps, mini camps, and small group development weekends, as well as race with other dragon boat groups around the country. A key goal for our fundraising is to provide paddlers financial support to attend camps and, if selected to Team USA Paradragons, the 2025 World Championships in Germany.

 

As the Head Coach for Paradragons USA, I am super excited to be a part of this new group that currently consists of Marynka Rojas Gorgen, Mary Tran, Heidi Stone, and Anne Becker. With our motto, “United by G.R.I.T.” (Goals, Respect, Initiative & Training), our goal is to recruit and train a solid base of both Para and Support paddlers ready to compete for positions on the 2025 Team USA Paradragons crew and future World Championship cycles. We will have our 2024 camp and race calendar available by the end of this year.

Paradragons USA is a separate entity from and not associated with the United States Dragon Boat Federation (USDBF) and Team USA.
